Exports in China increased in July, although at a slower rate, data from the General Administration of Customs showed.
On a yearly basis, exports rose 7.2 percent in July. That was below analysts' forecasts for an increase of 11.0 percent.
Imports jumped 11.0 percent in July, but well below the expected 18.0 percent growth.
The trade surplus totaled $46.74 billion in July versus the expected surplus of $45.0 billion.
