The Croatian Bureau of Statistics said the foreign trade deficit in Croatia fell marginally in May from April.
From EUR 800.7 million in the previous month, the trade deficit eased to EUR 783.2 million in May.
That also compared to the EUR 647.8 million registered in the same month last year.
Data showed that merchandise exports in the country came in at EUR 1.18 billion in May, higher than the previous month's EUR 0.98 billion. Imports grew from EUR 1.78 billion to EUR 1.96 billion.
