German business confidence strengthened in June, the Ifo Institute reportedly said Monday.
The business confidence index rose to 115.1 in June from 114.6 in May. The reading was expected to fall to 114.4.
The current conditions index came in at 124.1, above the expected reading of 123.3.
At the same time, the expectations index climbed to 106.8 in June from May's initially estimated 106.5. The expected reading was 106.4.
