Following the release of the ISM manufacturing index for October and construction Spending for September at 10.00 am ET Wednesday, the greenback edged down against its major rivals.
The greenback was worth 114.14 against the yen, 1.0016 against the franc, 1.1613 against the euro and 1.3287 against the pound around 10:02 am ET.
