Egypt's Finance Minister Amr El-Garhy at a press conference on Sunday said the second installment of Egypt's loan, worth $1.2 billion, from the International Monetary Fund is expected to be released in the second half of June.
The minister said the negotiations with the IMF are going well.
In November, Egypt secured a three-year loan program worth $12 billion. A first installment of $2.78 billion has already been disbursed.
