Data showed Friday that Singapore's gross domestic product rose 2.2 percent quarterly in second quarter.
That follows the downwardly revised 2.1 percent contraction in the previous quarter, according to the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
GDP increased an annual 2.9 percent from the revised 2.5 percent gain.
