Turkey's unemployment rate climbed for a fifth month in a row during July, figures from the Turkish Statistical Institute showed on Monday.
The seasonally adjusted jobless rate edged up to 11 percent from 10.9 percent in June.
The unemployment rate was the highest since July a year ago, when it was at the same level.
The unadjusted jobless rate climbed to 10.8 percent from 10.2 percent in June.
In July, the number of unemployed increased by 88,000 persons from a year ago to 3.53 million.
The youth unemployment, which applies to the 15-64 year olds, was 19.9 percent
