Bitcoin hit a new low of around $90,800, continuing its correction. Ethereum held up relatively well but also declined during yesterday's trading session.
The activity of long-term holders in the market raises numerous questions and concerns among traders and analysts. Although the sales volume is still below the record set in March this year (934,000 BTC sold), the current figure of nearly 730,000 BTC represents a significant volume of asset liquidation. This indicates that sellers are actively exiting their positions even under relatively favorable market conditions.
Currently, most selling pressure comes from coins held for 6 to 12 months. These holders, who bought Bitcoin during the previous rally, seem eager to lock in profits. Such a trend is typical during market volatility and uncertainty, often resulting in deep corrections.
On the other hand, longer-term holders are likely to target higher prices before deciding to sell actively. Their decisions may depend not only on current market conditions but also on future growth expectations.
Interestingly, almost all sales are being absorbed by U.S. spot ETFs launched earlier this year, which continue to attract significant capital inflows. This supports the belief in a continuation of the bull market after the ongoing correction, which is not yet over.
As for intraday strategies in the cryptocurrency market, I will continue focusing on any significant pullbacks in Bitcoin and Ethereum, anticipating the medium-term bull market to remain intact.
As for short-term trading, the strategy and conditions are described below.
Buy Scenario
I plan to buy Bitcoin today if it reaches the $93,221 entry point, targeting a rise to $94,800. At $94,800, I will exit purchases and sell immediately on a rebound. Before buying on a breakout, it is best to ensure the Stochastic indicator is near its lower boundary, around the 20 level.
Sell Scenario
Today, I plan to sell Bitcoin at the $92,333 entry point, targeting a decline to $90,500. At $90,500, I will exit sales and buy immediately on a rebound. Before selling on a breakout, ensure the Stochastic indicator is near its upper boundary, around the 80 level.
Buy Scenario
I plan to buy Ethereum today if it reaches the $3,391 entry point, targeting a rise to $3,525. At $3,525, I will exit purchases and sell immediately on a rebound. Before buying on a breakout, ensure the Stochastic indicator is near its lower boundary, around the 20 level.
Sell Scenario
I plan to sell Ethereum today at the $3,347 entry point, targeting a decline to $3,229. At $3,229, I will exit sales and buy immediately on a rebound. Before selling on a breakout, ensure the Stochastic indicator is near its upper boundary, around the 80 level.
