Figures from the Central Statistical Agency on Monday revealed that exports in Indonesia in April missed market expectations.
The statistics bureau said Indonesian exports rose an annual 12.6 percent in April, missing expectations for a 20.35 percent increase.
Imports advanced by 10.31 percent compared to an increase of 20.5 percent expected by economists.
The trade surplus totaled $1.24 billion, well above the expected surplus was $946 million.
