At 4.30 am ET Wednesday, the Office for National Statistics publishes UK consumer and producer prices for June. Inflation is forecast to remain unchanged at 2 percent in June.
Ahead of the data, the pound recovered from its early lows against its major rivals.
The pound was worth 134.31 against the yen, 1.2408 against the greenback, 1.2262 against the franc and 0.9037 against the euro as of 4:25 am ET.
