Denmark's industrial confidence improved from the previous month in April, after weakening in the previous month, data released by Statistics Denmark showed Friday.
The seasonally adjusted headline industrial confidence index rose to 4 in April from 2 in March. In February, the reading was 8.
The outlook component of the index, which measures production expectations, rose to 8 in April from 6 in the previous month.
Confidence among Danish entrepreneurs about backlog positions remained unchanged during the month, with the corresponding index, on an unadjusted basis, holding steady at 8.
At the same time, the seasonally adjusted service sector confidence index improved to -6 in April from -7 in March, while indicator of confidence among retail trades dropped to 1 from 7 in the previous month.
