EURUSD is trading below 1.2250 today. Price made a low around 1.2212. Price actions gives signs of weakness. Despite trading as high as 1.2348 this week, the end of the week finds bears overpowering bulls. Closing near the week lows is not a good sign for next week.

Red lines - bearish divergence

EURUSD is breaking out and below the bullish channel. Combined with the bearish divergence in the RSI and the weekly close near the lows, I expect next week to find EURUSD under pressure and at lower levels. I expect EURUSD to move lower towards 1.2050-1.21 area before any move higher. As we said in previous posts, although trend remains bullish, the oscillators show a weakening momentum and that is why we prefer to be neutral. Our target of 1.2350 has been achieved so no need to be greedy.
